Hi, my name is Kate and I hold a Counselling and Psychotherapy BSc (Hons) which includes Couple’s & Family Systems therapy.

I offer a non-judgemental space for you to unpack your troubles; honouring the trust you have placed in me to maintain confidentiality and safety.

Walk & Talk Therapy offers a gentle, reflective approach to counselling, combining the benefits of movement, fresh air, and nature with therapeutic conversation. Walking side by side can create a sense of ease, making it easier to open up, process emotions, and gain clarity.

I offer Walk & Talk sessions in natural settings around Painswick, allowing clients to experience the grounding and restorative effects of being outdoors. Whether you're struggling with stress, anxiety, grief, or life difficulties, this approach can provide a unique way to explore your thoughts and feelings in a relaxed, open environment.

Sessions are adapted to your pace and comfort level - whether that’s a slow walk, sitting on a bench, or simply pausing to connect with nature. If you’re interested in experiencing therapy outside of the traditional room setting, feel free to get in touch to discuss how Walk & Talk Therapy might work for you.

Hi, my name is Emma (she/her). Walk & Talk Therapy is a dynamic and holistic approach to therapy that encourages connection to nature and the elements, which can enhance your mental and physical well-being.

Walk & Talk sessions can be particularly beneficial for those who find that movement helps them think and express themselves more clearly, whilst some also find that movement and a change of scenery can stimulate creative thinking and new perspectives on their difficulties.

Being outside and engaging in mild exercise releases endorphins which can help reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. As we walk side by side together, you may notice a sense of ease and feel better able to communicate openly.

I offer Walk & Talk Therapy sessions at Selsley Common in Stroud, and amongst the woodlands and open areas of Painswick Beacon.

If you are ready to start your therapy journey you can email us at: info@therapyroomspainswick.co.uk

We will book you in for an assessment session where we can get to know each other, and talk about what you need help with.

We look forward to meeting you.
